Drown in my own tears
(Henry Glover)

For the Ray Charles version tune your guitar down half a step or simply play the chords down half a step ;)
The two chords you probably dont know are tabbed below.

     Aaug Abdim
e-----5---------
B--T--6---------
G--A--6-------4-
D--B--7-------6-
A-----0-------5-
E-----X-------4-

A aug
It brings a

D Aaug D D7 G Abdim
tear into my eyes, When I begin, To realize,

                D F#m Bm Em7 A7 Aaug
I`ve cried so much, Since you`ve been gone, I guess I`m drowning in my own tears,

           D Aaug D D7 G Abdim
I sit and cry, Just like a child My pouring tears Are runnin` wild

               D F#m Bm Em7 A7
If you don`t think You`ll be home soon I guess I`ll drown in my own tears

          G Abdim D A7 D D7
I know it`s true Into each life Some rain, rain must pour

         G Abdim Em7 A7
I`m so blue Here without you It keeps raining More and more

          D Aaug D D7 G Abdim
Why don`t you Come on home Oh yes so I won`t Be all alone

              D F#m Bm
If you don`t think You`ll be home soon I guess I`ll

D G
(drown in my own tears) Ooh, don`t let me

This is a great tab! The only suggestion I would make is to change F#m to F#7... the I-III7-vi progression is one of my favorites! And if you wanted to get fancy, you could add a descending bass line:

D F#7 Bm A G D/F#
I`ve cried so much, since you've been gone

Em7 A7 Aaug
I guess I'm drowning in my own tears
