[Chords]
Em Am7 G D

[Verse 1]
 Em Am7 G D
Well it’s about that time for us to look around and meet somebody new
 Em Am7 G D
Let’s all welcome in familiar faces, perhaps somebody who,
 Em Am7 G D
Has got a conflict in their life
 Em Am7 G D
Tell them you’re sorry, but there’s ways to change the wrong to right
 Em Am7 G D
See we can sit in a distant haze and watch rain clouds pour thoughts of
                Em Am7 G D
greatness and help our troubles sail real far away.
 Em Am7 G
Well it’s a struggle – everyday we’re stressing, but what’s a life without
  D
dedication?
 Em Am7 G D
I’m trying to pick up the souls intention to soak in music relaxation

[Chorus]
 Em Am7 G D
We’re feeling good, we’re feeling alright
 Em Am7 G D
We’re feeling good, we’re feeling alright

[Verse 2]
 Em Am7 G D
In a moment I’ll be on my way, to better days, while life is changing
 Em Am7 G
And even though I’ve had my share of pain, I’ve been sympathizing and
 D
realizing
 Em Am7
I’ve got a feeling that we can be a better friend
          G D
Simply complimenting every now and then
 Em Am7
In the morning I wake up and miss the night before
 D
Cuz I love the music more and more
 Em Am7 G D
See we can sit in a distant haze and watch rain clouds pour thoughts of
               Em Am7 G D
greatness to help our troubles sail real far away
 Em Am7 G
While it’s a struggle everyday we’re stressing, but what’s a life without
 D
dedication?
 Em Am7 G D
I’m trying to pick up the souls intention to soak in music relaxation

You have the first chord right, but the others don't sound right.

Great post, one edit: There is a Bm at the end of the progression. So it goes:

Em (2 beats) - Am7 (1 beat) - G (1 beat) - D (2 beats) - Bm (2 beats)

You can play an extended D for four beats with some hammer ons, but if you watch him play it he is ending the progression with a Bm.
