This song about Marie Laveau paints her in an evil light,
but the famous Voodoo priestess was reported to be beautiful,
benign, and charitable. Although after her death, her daughter,
with the same name, cultivated more of a sinister persona.

Great! Would love to see Redbone tab other than the same 3 songs though. Seems like I can only find this one, "Come and Get Your Love," and "Maggie." Dozens of beautiful songs from 1970 to 1972, with super rich guitar etc. I don't really have much of an ear to contribute, sort of a novice, but their first three albums are incredible, pre-"come and get ..."
