Song: Hold My Life
Artist: The Replacements
Album: Tim (1985)(Track 1)
Tabbed By: Brandon Karcic

First tab. Pretty simple, awesome song. Thinking of playing it for my Berklee
audition, if I don't do "Left of the Dial". Be sure to pay attention to the song
for rhythms, especially on the verses.

D A
D A D A
Well, well, well I,
D A
found it's [my life]
D A D A
Down on all fives
D A
Let me crawl
D A D A
If I want, I
D A D A D A
could dye (oh)
D A
my hair

Bm A
Time for decisions to be made
Bm A Bm E
Crack up in the sun, lose it in the shade

D A
Razzle, dazzle, drazzle, drone, time for this one to come home
D A
Razzle, dazzle, drazzle, die, time for this one to come alive
       D Cm Bm A
and hold my life
D Cm Bm A
until I'm ready to use it
D Cm Bm (riff, see below)
Hold my life because I just might lose it
(riff)
Because I just might lose it

in the chorus where you mark the chords, D - CM - BM - A, I use a D chord too, but I only use the roots for certain chords, and I think one of those roots is a C# not a C...

D - D/C#(root) - D/B(root) - A
Un---til---------I'm---------ready to use it...
