READY TO FALL ACOUSTIC - Rise Against
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuning: Half-Step Down [Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb]
Tabber: silver_and_cold

Note: G5* is 3x0033
(you don't play the A string)

Intro:
eb|--------------------------|
bb|--------------------------|
gb|--7777--7777--7777-7777---|
Db|--7777--5555--8888-8888---|
Ab|--5555--5555--5555-5555---|
Eb|--------------------------|
play 2x

THEN:
Dsus2 G5* A# [2x] C

VERSE 1:
Dsus2 A# G5* A# C
Hold on slow down again from the top now and tell me everything
Dsus2
I know I've been gone for what seems like forever
     A# G5* A# C
But I'm here now waiting
Dsus2
To convince you that I'm not a ghost or a stranger
     A# G5* A# C
But closer than you think
                Dsus2
She said, "Just go on to what you

Pretend is your life but
A# G5* A# C
Please don't die on me"

Refrain:
A# Dsus2
Wings won't take me
A# Dsus2
Heights don't phase me
           A#
So take a step
G5*
  But don't look down
            A# C
Take a step

Chorus:
Dsus2 G5* A#
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
Dsus2 G5* A#
I think I'm at the edge now but I could be wrong
Dsus2 G5* A# Dsus2 G5* A# C
I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall

Verse 2:
Perpetual motion the image won't focus
A blur is all that's seen
But here in this moment like the eye of the storm
It all came clear to me
I found a shoulder to lean on
An infallible reason to live all by itself
I took one last look from the heights that I once loved
And then I ran like hell

Refrain:
Wings won't take me
Heights don't phase me
So take a step
But don't look down
Take a step

Chorus:
Dsus2 G5* A#
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
Dsus2 G5* A#
I think I'm at the edge now but I could be wrong
Dsus2 G5* A# Dsus2 G5* A#
I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall

Coda:
C
I count the times that I've been sorry
A#
I know, I know
C
 Now my compassion slowly drowns
A#
I know, I know
C
If there's a time these walls could guard you
A#
I know, I know
C
Then let that time be right now

Then:
eb|--------------------------|
bb|--------------------------|
gb|--7777--7777--7777-7777---|
Db|--7777--5555--8888-8888---|
Ab|--5555--5555--5555-5555---|
Eb|--------------------------|
play 4x

Now I'm standing on the rooftop
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall

Dsus2 G5* A#
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
Dsus2 G5* A#
I think I'm at the edge now but I could be wrong
Dsus2 G5* A# Dsus2 G5* A#
I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall

Dsus2 G5* A#
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
Dsus2 G5* A#
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
Dsus2 G5* A#
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
Dsus2 G5* A# Dsus2
Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall
