It's such a classic tune, I thought this site should have at least one version of it
that was correct. This is the key it was written in. Just play it in standard tuning.

 F Dm A# C
Oooh donna oooh donna
 F Dm A# C
Oooh donna oooh donna

F Dm A# C F
I had a girl, and Donna was her name
               Dm A# C
Since she left me, Ive never been the same
          F Dm A# C F Dm
Cause I love my girl Donna, oh where can you be?
 A# C
    Where can you be?

F Dm A# C F
Now that your gone, Im left all alone
         Dm A# C
All by myself - to wander and roam
          F Dm A# C F
Cause I love my girl Donna, oh where can you be?

I like it, but I think it sounds better with a D5/A instead of Dm. Just put 1 finger on string 5 and 6 of fret 5 and strum the top 3 chords then your A# is right there. Or when your in your F, take all fingers off except middle finger and strum strings 5,4,3 , u can also use Bb instead of A# they sound very similar imo.
