Song: Forget it
Artist: Rodriguez
Album: Cold Fact

     G F#7 Bm7
But thanks for your time then you can thank me for mine
     G A7 D
And after that's said, forget it

D A G A D
Don't be inane There's no one to blame no reason why You should stay here and lie to me
D A G A D
Don't say anymore Just walk out the door I'll get along fine You'll see.

     G F#7 Bm7
But thanks for your time then you can thank me for mine
     G A7 D
And after that's said, forget it

   D A G A D
If there was a word but magic's absurd I'd make one dream come true
D A G A D
It didn't work out but don't ever doubt How I felt about you

     G F#7 Bm7
But thanks for your time then you can thank me for mine
     G A7 D
And after that's said, forget it

The "Don't be inane There's no one to blame" parts the Amaj doesn't sound quite right, could it be the F#7 again there instead of the Amaj, also after that the A7 again instead of the second Amaj in the chorus

No, the verse does not go < D, A, G >. It goes < D, B7/D#, G>.The B7/D# can be played as follows...

E |---|-3-|---|---|---| o
B |---|---|---|-4-|---| o
G |---|-2-|---|---|---| o
D |-1-|---|---|---|---| o
