Lost In The Fifties Tonight (In The Still Of The Night)
Written by Mike Reid, Troy Seals, and Fred Parris
c1984 BMG Songs, WB Music Corp., Two Sons Music, & Llee Corp.
Performed by Ronnie Milsap

Fmaj(#5): 133221 Bb: x13331 Gm7b5: xx2212
Gm7: xx3333 C+: xx2110 Dm: xx0231

F Fmaj(#5)
Close your eyes, baby, follow my heart,
Bb Gm7b5
Call on the mem'ries, here in the dark.
F G
We'll let the magic take us away,
Gm7 C C+
Back to the feeling we shared when they'd play:

Chorus
       F Dm Bb C
In the still of the night, hold me darling, hold me tight.
    F Dm Bb C
Oh, shoo-doop, shoo-be do. shoo-doop, doo; so real, so right
                      F
Lost in the fifties tonight

F Fmaj(#5)
These precious hours, we know we can't survive.
Bb Gm7b5
Love's all that matters while the past is alive.
F G
Now and for always, till time disappears,
Gm7 C C+
We'll hold each other whenever we hear:

Chorus

I noticed too that the chord is strummed once then he sings the lyric. If ya get a chance that could be edited so people would know.

Thanks for this arrangement. I only play classic country songs.
