[Verse 1]
         A A/G F#m F
I could show you in a word, if I wanted to,
A A/G F#m F
A window on the world, with a lovely view,
       A A/G F#m F
From close-up in - side, a single room,
         A A/G F#m F
With an open book a - side, like you read in school!

{Verse 2]
     A A/E D F
It's so easy, believe me, when you need fun,
          A D F A
I'd do anything to turn... you on,
   A D F A
Anything to turn... you on!

[Verse 3]
        A A/G F#m F
Is it raining in New York, down 5th Avenue?
           A A/G F#m F
And off Broadway, after dark, love the lights, don't you?
          A A/G
I could walk you through------- the park,
            F#m F
If you're feeling blue, or whatever!

[Verse 4]
A A/E D F
Spring, Summer... whenever, Winter through Fall,
          A D F A
I'd do anything to turn... you on,
   A D F A
Anything to turn... you on! Oh - hoh!

[Verse 5]
          A A/G F#m F
I would leave you as------ you were, if I wanted to,
         A A/G F#m
Then I wonder, is it fair, now you're on your own?
      F A A/E
Who cares about you, except me? God, help me!
D F A D F

D F A D F A
When things go wrong, I'd do anything to tu---- rn---- you on!

Great song, good tab!

I'm not quite sure about the second chord in the chorus "A/G". I'd rathr think the root is E not G. Might be wrong though.

Good job.

Maguri, you're right, in the even numbered verses it is an A/E. Well spotted. Although I don't think it sounds as affective as the G bass that appears in the intro, coda and odd numbered verses, but I will amend it for accuracy's sake. Thanks again.
