Intro, Verse, and Chorus Chords: D Em D/F# G

D Em D/F# G
 As pretty as a song
D Em D/F# G
 A song could ever be
D Em D/F# G
 Like Christmas in the river
D Em D/F# G
Without a boat or Christmas tree
G D/F# Em D
This afternoon with you was something like a letter
    D Em D/F# G
The kind that someone writes but never sends
G D/F# Em D
And when you look at me like that
  D Em D/F# G
I know someday it's gonna end
G D/F# Em
And when you pass on
                            D Em D/F# G (twice)
I bet you miss your friends

I'd give it 5 stars if it had all the text written in so i could sit and play it without having to remember the chords or have the words memorized.....

Lyric is wrong in the second to last line. When he switches it up there is no Em he stays on D/F#. Lastly, "And when you get old" (the right lyrics) stays on the G then Em on "old"
