If I Didn't Know Better - Sam Palladio & Clare Bowen
Tabbed by: gamerjrs

**Capo 2**

Am
If I didn't know better I'd hang my hat right there
E Am
If I didn't know better I'd follow you up the stairs
Am
Stop saying those sweet things you know I like to hear
E Am
The horns are blowing louder and they're destroying me

*Chorus*

Dm Am
Why do I keep drinking
Dm Am
Wasting my time on you
Dm E
If I didn't know better

Well damnit I do

(Same chords as first verse)

There's a hole in what you're saying
I can plainly see
You have a lover that's waiting but
baby you're right here with me
Ooh, you might as well be the devil
Oh, keeping me out past three
Oh, you're the one with that apple
so baby you can't blame me

(Chorus)

I think the words for the last line of of the first verse are:
The horns are blowing louder and the bailliff's drawing near

It took listening to several versions and checking several web sites to figure that one out. :-)

The lyrics for the final chorus are slightly different to the first:

Why do you keep drinking?
Give me one night with you.
If I didn't know better,
But Damnit I do.
