You may have gotten the right notes, but this song isn't in power chords. The chord voicing used in the main riff/intro is:
E|0--|
B|10-|
G|9--|
D|10-|
A|0--|
E|---|

The notes you said were open palm mutes are actually natural harmonics (not sure how you got them confused..), the chord done in NH's is this:
G|-5-|
D|-2-|
A|-3-|

Also, this song has tons of guitar tracks layered on top of eachother, so the examples I've given are what was played live, and what they would be if played by one guitar.
