Intro: G D A

          D

Well the past is playing with my head

      Bm

And failure knocks me down again

       G

I'm reminded of the wrong that I have said and done

           Asus4 A

And that devil just won't let me forget

         G

In this life

                  D

I know what I've been

                 Asus4

But here in Your arms

              Bm

I know what I am

        G Bm Asus4

I'm forgiven

(D/F#) G Bm Asus4

I'm forgiven

    G D

And I don't have to carry

    Asus4 Bm

The wait of who I've been

               G Bm Asus4

Cause I'm forgiven

      D

My mistakes are running through my mind

    Bm

And I relive my days, in the middle of the night

       G

And I struggle with my pain, wrestle with my pride

    Asus4 A

Sometimes I feel alone and I cry

[Prechorus]

[Chorus]

       D D/C# Bm Asus4

Well I don't fit in and I don't feel like I belong anywhere

                 G Asus4 Bm

When I don't measure up to much in this life

           G Asus4 D

Oh, I'm a treasure in the arms of Christ

[Chorus]

G should be-

|--3--
|--3--
|--0--
|--0--
|--2--
|--3--

sounds better like that and in the chorus take out the asus4 and just play a normal A. it sounds better like that

Good call on the G, I didnt know there were chord diagrams so I changed the variation. I still like the Asus4 to A movement but I changed the variation of the Asus4 chord to how I play it, try it that way, it should sound a lot better.

Question: what's the difference between D, D/F#, D/C#? On the chord diagram they all look the same.
