[Intro]

D Bm A G

[Verse 1]

D
Woke up late today,
      Bm
And I still feel the sting of the pain,
     A
But I brush my teeth anyway,
   G
Got dressed through the mess,
                   A Bm
and put a smile on my face
                    G
I got a little bit stronger

[Verse 2]

D
Ridin' in the car to work,
        Bm
And I'm tryin' to ignore the hurt,
     A
So I turned on the radio,
      G
Stupid song made me think of you,
                A Bm
I listen to it for a minute,
           G
But then I changed it,
                           D
I'm gettin a little bit stronger,
                     Bm
Just a little bit stronger

[Chorus]

    G
And I'm done hopin, that we can work it out,
A Bm
I'm done with how it feels, spinnin my wheels,
A D
Lettin you drag my heart around, and oh,
     G
And I'm done thinking you could ever change,
            D A/C#
I know my heart will never be the same,
      Bm D/A
But I'm tellin' myself I'll be okay,
G
Even on my weakest days,
                     D - Bm - G
I get a little bit stronger

[Verse 3]

D
It doesn't happen overnight,
       Bm
but you turn around and months gone by,
       A
And you realize you haven't cried,
    G
Not givin' you an hour or a second
     A Bm
or another minute longer,
                 G A
I'm busy gettin' stronger

[Chorus]

    G
And I'm done hopin, that we can work it out,
A Bm
I'm done with how it feels, spinnin my wheels,
A D
Lettin you drag my heart around, and oh,
     G
And I'm done thinking you could ever change,
            D A/C#
I know my heart will never be the same,
      Bm D/A
But I'm tellin' myself I'll be okay,
G
Even on my weakest days,
                     D - Bm
I get a little bit stronger
                     G
I get a little bit stronger

[Lead]

Bm Bm D G A

        D/F# G
Gettin' on without you baby
                     A
I'm better off without you baby
                    Bm
How does it feel without me baby
                        C
I'm gettin' stronger without you baby

[Chorus]

    G D Bm A
And I'm done hopin, that we can work it out,
D/F# G D/F#
I'm done with how it feels, spinnin my wheels,
Bm A D
Lettin you drag my heart around, and oh,
   G D Bm A
And I'm done thinking that you could ever change,
            D A/C#
I know my heart will never be the same,
       Bm A
But I'm tellin' myself I'll be okay,
G
Even on my weakest days,
                     D - Bm
I get a little bit stronger
                     A - G
I get a little bit stronger
                     D - Bm - A
Just a little bit stronger
                           G D - Bm
Little bit, little bit, a little bit stronger
                    A - G
Get a little bit stronger

[Outro]

D - Bm - A - G

I put a capo on the first fret and I liked the sound a lot. Did that help anyone else?

@ pitalovesmusic .. I play DDD DUDUD DDU for each chord.. three short strums and then downupdownup etc. . I think without capo sounds fine . this tab is good . =]
