I usually don't tab out songs for the internet, but some of the garbage that I have
seen posted as "accurate" is too much to take. This is a chord transcripion. The chords
(especially the intro) have hammer ons between the changes but I didn't tab them here.
They are easy to hear and play.

Guitar tuned down 1/2 step Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb Chords are relative to 1/2 step tuning.
If you play this in standard, the chord make up is (Bb Ab Cm Eb) make sure to play
all bar chords to get the accurate sound and especially play the B barred up on the
7th fret, not the second.

Take Your Mamma Out B A C#m

           B A
When you grow up / Livin' like a good boy oughta
         C#m B
And your mama / Takes a shine to her best son
           B A
Something different / All the girls they seem to like you
             C#m B
Cause you're handsome / Like to talk and a whole lot of fun

             C#m
But now your girl's gone a missin'
         A B
And your house has got an empty bed
             Cm
The folks'll wonder 'bout the wedding
           A B
They won't listen to a word you said

      B
Gonna take your mama out all night
           A
Yeah we'll show her what it's all about
              E
We'll get her jacked up on some cheap champagne
              B
We'll let the good times all roll out
          B
And if the music ain't good, well it's just too bad
            A
We're gonna sing along no matter what
            E
Because the dancers don't mind at the New Orleans
       B (small briddge riff)A A A Bb B
If you tip 'em and they make a cut

B
Do it
               A
Take your mama out all night
          E B
So she'll have no doubt that we're doing oh the best we can A A A Bb B
            B
We're gonna do it
               A
Take your mama out all night
        E B
You can stay up late 'cause baby you're a full grown man A A A Bb B

Intro

It's a struggle / Livin' like a good boy oughta
In the summer / Watchin' all the girls pass by
When your mama / Heard the way that you'd been talking
I tried to tell you / That all she'd wanna do is cry

Now we end up takin' the long way home
Lookin' overdressed wearin' buckets of stale cologne
It's so hard to see streets on a country road
When your glasses in the garbage
And your Continental's just got towed

well for all your braggadocio, you have mis-chorded several places in this song. In the 'pre-chorus' section where you have it as
C#m
But now your girl's gone a missin'
A B
And your house has got an empty bed
Cm
The folks'll wonder 'bout the wedding
A B
They won't listen to a word you said

you not only leave out a change, you also have the chords incorrect. In your version of the tuning, the chord would remain C#M while the bass notes ONLY would drop so:

C#m C#m/B
But now your girl's gone a missin'
C#m/A# C#m/F# B
And your house has got an empty bed
Cm
The folks'll wonder 'bout the wedding
A B
They won't listen to a word you said

other than that, your chords are merely a 4 step up copy of the ones I submitted, so I don't see what you are talking about.

No! this is right! Listen to the song properly, its no split/special chords. What happened was the other guy posted a really *** one with the chords all wrong and this is right!
