Tabbed by Roby

The first single from the 2nd best album of 2004 so far (the first obviously being franz ferdinand)

VERSE: Bb Ab Cm Bb

          Bb Ab
When you grow up/ livin like a good boy oughta/
         Cm Bb
And your mama/ takes a shinin' to her son

(same for rest of verse)

BRIDGE: Cm Bb

             Cm
But now your girl's gone a-missin'/
                                Bb
and your house has got an empty bed...

PRE-CHORUS: Bb Ab Eb Bb

Bb
Gonna take your mama out all night yeah/
      Ab
We'll show her what it's all about/
        Eb

Bb (Ab, 3 times quickly before chorus)
Let the good times all roll out...

PRECHORUS RIFF:

-6-4---------------------------
-----6-4-----------------------
---------6-3-3-3---------------
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
-------------------------------

(this is played subtly on the electric, listen to the song to figure out the rhythm)

CHORUS: Bb Ab Eb Bb

Bb Ab
Do it/ take your mama out all night
          Eb Bb
So she'll have no doubt that we're doing oh the best we can...

etc etc...

Several wrong chords (the 'Ab quickly before chorus should be Ab Ab B Bb) and you left out the descending line in the 2nd half of every verse. I find this can best be played capo'ed up 3 frets, then playing the descending bass note easily while in an Am position (the bass guitar takes the low octave D, the guitar merely playing a common D chord after the Am/A Am/G Am/F# then to D)

You can also do the hammer-on and pulloffs in the rhythm figure more naturally capo'ed up 3
