                             Sworn and Broken - Screaming Trees
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: new_monkey

Tuning: standard

Chords: standard except "G/F#" (previously incorrectly G/B): 2-0-0-0-3-3

INTRO:

G---->A---->G---->A (slow acoustic)

D------>A------>G (drums start)

G----->G/F#----->A

VERSE 1:

D--------->A--------->G
Winter's setting in again,

-------->G--->G/F#----------------->A
and it feels like the end is near.

D--------->A------------>G
Senseless sense and I'm alone,

-------------->G----->G/F#---------->A
Watching the seconds       passing by.

CHORUS 1:

---------->G---->A--------->Bm
Come January, I swear this world,

-------------->G-->A-------------->Bm
Won't be the one that we once lived on.

--------->G----->A---------->Bm
Took and oath for a promise sworn and broken.

A---------->G---(*link*)-->D
All that's gone   ---->   away.

G-------->A

{ D-----0-0>1>2<0---(0)- }
{ A-0-2-----------2----- } ***LINK***
{ E--------------------- }

VERSE 2:

D----------->A---------------->G
When Monday morning you can't wake up,

--------------->G-->G/F#------------------>A
still dreaming of what could have been.

D--------->A---------------->G
Something good has gone and left you,

------------->G--->G/F#----------->A
it's another tear one more denial.

CHORUS 2:

---------->G---->A--------->Bm
Come January, I swear this world,

------------->G--->A--------------->Bm
won't be the one that we once lived on.

--------->G---->A---------->Bm
Took and oath another promise sworn and broken.

A---------->G
All that's gone,

Bm------------------------->A
All that's gone before you've changed.

G-->A
     D R U M
G-->A
     F I L L S
G-->A

*keys solo -> fancy tabbing it?!*

VERSE 3:

D----------->A---------------->G
Well Monday morning you don't wake up,

--------------->G-->G/F#------------------>A
still dreaming of what could have been.

D--------->A---------------->G
Something good has gone and left you,

------------->G--->G/F#----------->A
it's another tear one more denial.

CHORUS 3:

---------->G---->A--------->Bm
Come January, I swear this world,

-------------->G--->A---------------->Bm
won't be the one that we once lived on.

--------->G---->A----------->Bm
Took and oath another promise sworn and broken.

A---------->G
All that's gone,

Bm------------------->
All that's gone before,

Bm------------------->
All that's gone before,

Bm------------------------->A
All that's gone before has changed.

I think the G/B should be a G/F# (or maybe even a D/F#?)
