[Intro]

 A E A E

[Verse 1]

A E

I've fallen a thousand times

A E

I rise just to fall again

A E

endlessly sailing on these seas

A E

with no sign of the end

A E

I've traveled so far from home

A Am

yet memories don't seem to fade away

A E

they stay with me and keep me company

A E

as I continue on my way

[Chorus 1]

C#m A E

But there is nothing in my life

C#m A E

that could ever come close

C#m A E

to he who guides me constantly

C#m A E

on these winding, weary roads

C#m A E

he is the one that saved my life

C#m A E

he is the God who set me free

C#m A E

He lights my paths on the darkest nights

C#m A E

now my blinded eyes can see

[Verse 2]

A E

And now I will carry on

A E

hoping that today

A E

all these simple pieces of advise

A E

that you could take away

A E
I wish this melody

A Am

could somehow be so strong

A E

that it would take you from this world

E E

back to that place where you belong

[Chorus 2]

C#m A E

But there is nothing in my life

C#m A E

that could ever come close

C#m A E

to he who guides me constantly

C#m A E

on these winding, weary roads

C#m A E

he is the one that saved my life

C#m A E

he is the God who set me free

C#m A E

He lights my paths on the darkest nights

C#m A E

now my blinded eyes can see

D
One day when I reach my destination

Cadd9 G

In a simple place who knows how far

 D

I hope these words will guide you

 Cadd9 G

and from your path you'll never depart

[chorus 3]

C#m A E

But there is nothing in my life

C#m A E

that could ever come close

C#m A E

to he who guides me constantly

C#m A E

on these winding, weary roads

Cm A E

he is the one that saved my life

C#m A E

he is the God who set me free

C#m A E

He lights my paths on the darkest nights

C#m A E

now my blinded eyes can see

Some people may like to play a cadd9 instead of the C in the bridge, These are just basic chords, The song is meant to be changed, adapted and experimented with. It is up to the player to discover what they like best
