What about me – Shannon Noll

Easiest way I find, is to play with capo on 4 (to get original key) because then
you get to play the easiest chord forms :) to transpose though, just use the
buttons at the side. Original will be in the key of E.

[Intro]
F D F C

[Verse]
C Em
Well there's a little boy waiting
       F C
at the counter of the corner shop
          Am Em
He's been waiting back there, waiting
                   F
half the day, they never ever see him
     G
from the top

        Am F
He gets pushed around, knocked to the ground,
   D F
He gets to his feet and he says

[Chorus]
           C
What About Me
    Em
It isn't fair
  F Dm
I've had enough, now I want my share
          C
Can't you see
    Em
I wanna live
    F C
but you just take more than you give

[Verse 2]
C Em F C
Well there's a pretty girl serving at the counter of the corner shop
           Am Em
She's been waiting back there, waiting for her dreams
           F G
Her dreams walk in and out they never stop
            Am F
Well she's not too proud to cry out loud
    D F
She runs to the street and she screams

[Chorus]
           C
What About Me
    Em
It isn't fair
  F Dm
I've had enough, now I want my share
          C
Can't you see
    Em
I wanna live
    F C
but you just take more than you give

[Bridge]
C Em Am G
So take a step back and see the little people
 F D7
They may be young but they're the ones
              C Em Am
That make the big people big
     G F
So listen, as they whisper
           C
What about me

            Em F C
And now I’m standing on the corner all the world's gone home
  Am Em
Nobody's changed, nobody's been saved
F G
And I'm feeling cold and alone
  Am F
I guess I'm lucky, I smile a lot
     D F G
But sometimes I wish for more than I've got

[Chorus]
           C
What About Me
    Em
It isn't fair
  F Dm
I've had enough, now I want my share
          C
Can't you see
    Em
I wanna live
    F
but you just take more …
           C
What About Me
    Em
It isn't fair
  F Dm
I've had enough, now I want my share
          C
Can't you see

    Em
I wanna live
    F
but you just take more than
D
you just take more than
F C F
you just take more than you give

           C F
What about me?
           C F
What about me?
           C
