I Dare You by Shinedown

this is one of my favorite songs ever..and this is how I play it. the other chords
up on here never sounded right to me, so I hope you enjoy.

chords used:
    EADGBe
D: xx0232
Em: 022000
G: 320003
C: x32010
Bm: x24432

intro/verse: you play this along to the verse. it's an extremely hard rhythm to
play and sing by yourself and even harder to tab, so you can get it by listening.

       G Dsus4 G Em Esus4

e|---3-3-3--3-3-3--3-3-------------------------|

Hello, let me introduce you to

The characters in the show

One says yes, one says no

Decide - which voice in your head you can keep alive

pre-chorus:

D Em C-Bm-C-Bm-C-Bm
Even in madness, I know you still believe
D Em C
Paint me on canvas so I become
D
What you could never be

chorus:

G D C G
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
          D C Bm-C
wear my soul and call me a liar
G D C
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
                D
I dare you to tell me
    C
I dare you to

intro/verse again for this part...

Hello, are you still chasing

The memories in shadows

Some stay young, some grow old

Come alive, there are thoughts unclear

You can never hide

pre-chorus:

D Em C-Bm-C-Bm-C-Bm
Even in madness, I know you still believe
D Em C
Paint me on canvas so I become
D
What you could never be

chorus:

G D C G
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
          D C Bm-C
wear my soul and call me a liar
G D C
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
                D
I dare you to tell me
    C
I dare you to

the bridge part I haven't quite figured out yet. as soon as I do, I'll have it posted.

chorus:

G D C G
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
          D C Bm-C
wear my soul and call me a liar
G D C
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
                D
I dare you to tell me
    C
I dare you to

G D
I dare you to tell me
   C
I dare you to
G D
I dare you to tell me
   C
I dare you to...

actually make that last x222xx a x220xx...just sounds better when you're playing with just one guitar.
