[Verse 1] A B
Listen close, and don't be stoned

                        B A
I'll be here in the morning
                        A B
                        Cause I'm just floating
                        A B
                        Your cigarette still burns
                        B A
Your messed-up world will thrill me
                           A B
                             Alison, I'm lost
[Chorus]
                        E A
                        Alison, I said we're sinking

                        E A
                        There's nothing here but that's o kay

                        E A
Outside your room, your sister's spinning

                        A D E
But she lies, tells me she's just fine
                        E B A E
I guess she's out there somewhere
[Verse 2]

                        A B
And the sailors they strike poses

                        B A B
TV covered walls, and so slowly

                        A B
With your talking and your pills

                        B A
Your messed-up life still thrills me

[Chorus] A B
                        Alison, I'm lost
                        E A
                        Alison, I'll drink your wine
                        E A
I wear your clothes, when we're both high
                        E A
                        Alison, I said we're sinking

                        A D E
But you laugh and tells me it's just fine

                        E B A E
I guess she's out there somewhere

the chords are all actually maj7's.

Amaj7 (02120x)
Bmaj7 (x0442x)
Dmaj7 (2220xx)
Emaj7 (x0112x)

That E chord should be:

-0-

-0-

And 4satin, it looks like you did those chord notations backwards! They are usually done from the lowest E string to highest E string. Yours may confuse some people. In any case, a Bmaj7 would be more like:

---

---

...as opposed to yours which is just a B5 (power chord).
