                                CATCH THE BREEZE
                             As recorded by Slowdive
                      (From the 1991 Album JUST FOR A DAY)

Transcribed by Jordan Kokocinski
Tuning: Standard (E A D G B E)
4/4 time
Andante Q=94

Intro: | C#m     | B       | A       | A       |
       | / / / / | / / / / | / / / / | / / / / |

C#m        B                A
Feels like all the days are gone

Just catch the breeze

    B                A
You know it had to fall

C#m   B       A
Rain, washes, ways down

    D             C
And I, I want the world to pass

    D              C
And I, I watch the wind to fly

    D              C
You can believe in everything

    D               C       Am
You can believe it all

[ Repeat Intro phrase ]

C#m            B                 A
Hey, are you feeling something new

     C#m                B                 A
Just watch the rain, it helps in all you do

    C#m        B               A
The breeze, it blows, it blows everything

    D             C
And I, I want the world to pass

    D             C
And I, I want the sun to shine

    D              C
You can believe in everything

    D               C       Am
You can believe it all

| E       | E       | G#m     | G#m     o||
| / / / / | / / / / | / / / / | / / / / o||

| E       ||
| / ..... ||

End on that E chord. The strum patterns are just to keep time in the bars, and
may or may not be the actual patterns used in the song (I cannot detect any
pattern from the wall of guitars)! But do not be confined to that quarter note
pattern. Do what you feel, use whatever chord voicings you like with or without
extensions. Be creative! And most of all, enjoy the music!

I think it's C#m in the verse, not Cm

majorhisto : Of course it is C#m! I was sure I put that... Oh well, my error! Any way I can fix this?
