Whole song

  • Because I am using different chords, that sounds better IMO.

Only other tab for this song was so horribly wrong I had to do this. For the good of
Slowdive and its fans. If you want this dead on with the song you'll need to tune your
guitar down a half step. Transcribed to standard just doesn't really sound as good.

[Verse 1]

Cadd9 Asus2
The sunshine girl is sleeping
Cadd9 Asus2
She falls and dreams alone
Cadd9 Asus2
And me I am her dagger
Cadd9 Asus2 Asus2
To numb to feel her pain

[Chorus 1]

Cadd9/G Asus2
The world is full of noise, yeah
F G
I hear it all the time
                 Asus2
And me I am your dagger
F G
You know I am your world

[Verse 2]
(verse 1 chords)

I thought I heard you whisper
It happens all the time
I thought I heard you whisper
It happens all the time

She whispers while I'm sleeping
I love you when you smile
I didn't really lose you
I just lost it for a while

[Chorus 2]
(chorus 1 chords)

The world is full of noise yeah
I hear it all the time
You know I am your dagger
You know I am your wound
I thought I heard you whisper
It happens all the time
I thought I heard you whisper
It happens all the time

the name of the chords are wrong because the tuning change, they will be Badd9, A-flat sus2 in the verses, and G-flat, A-flat in the chorus, and the song can be played without the tuning.

This does not sound a whole lot different from the other tab other than minor changes in chord progression. As said by martz as well you don't need the tuning at all.
