I SECOND THAT EMOTION- Smokey Robinson

[Intro]

A G D

[Verse]

 D
Maybe you wanna give me kisses sweet

But only for one night and no repeat

And maybe you'll go away and never call
    G A D
A taste of honey is worse than none at all

[Chorus]

       G D
Oh in that case I don't want no part
                      G D
I do believe that that would only break my heart

Oh, but if you feel like lovin' me
  A G D
And you got the notion, I second that emotion
                                      A G
Said, if you feel like givin' me a lifetime of devotion
                D A G D A G D
I second that emotion

[Verse]

Maybe you think that love would tie you down
And you don't have the time to hand around
Or maybe you think that love was made for fools
And so it makes you wise to break the rules

[Chorus]

       G D
Oh in that case I don't want no part
                      G D
I do believe that that would only break my heart

Oh, but if you feel like lovin' me
  A G D
And you got the notion, I second that emotion
                                      A G
Said, if you feel like givin' me a lifetime of devotion
                D A G D A G D
I second that emotion

These chords are correct according to my ear. One issue with the lyrics because you change them. I think it's: "Maybe you think that love will tie you down, And you don't have the time to hang around, And maybe you think that love will make you a fool, And so it makes you wise to break the rules". I know it doesn't sound like "make you a fool". I think that's because he sings, "make a fool" leaving out the word "you".
Thanks for the chords and words!
