Verse 1:

     D F#m E A
The moment has come to face the truth
     D F#m E A
I'm wide awake and so are you
A E
Do you have the clue what is it (I don't know)
A E
Are you evrything that admit (don't hope so)
A E
Both just have to wait and see (wait and see)
   F# G A
If things go right we're meant to be

Verse 2:

The surfer is gone I scratched them off
We made some plans I let them go
Do you have the slightest idea (no I don't know)
Why the world is right when you're in it (is that so)
Stay a while and wait and see (wait and see)
If things go right we're meant to be

Chorus:

D F#m E A
Oh what a world this life would be
D F#m E A
Forget all your technicolor dreams
   B# B
Forget modern nature
 A D G B
This is how it's meant to be

riff x1

Verse 3:

The time is here for being straight
It's not too early and never too late
People say I should watch my pace (do that know)
"Think how you spend all your days" (they all say so)
Those just have to wait and see (wait and see)
If things go right they'll have to agree

Chorus

riff x2

Solo: D F#m E A then

   A E

   F# G A

Tadada da...
Do you have the slightest idea (no I don't)
Why the world is right when you're in it (is that so)
Stay a while we'll wait and see (wait and see)
If things go right we're meant to be

That E sounds like it should be an Em... Oh, and it's a ton easier to play on capo2

Yeah, but the barre chords sound nicer before they're transposed

In the chorus, I'd play:
A Am
Forget, Modern Nature
Bm D G (C-C-C-C#) D
This is how it's meant to be
