Splendora - You're Standing On My Neck
   Theme Song from MTV's 'Daria'

   By John Farrar (JohnF514@hotmail.com)

I had been searching for this tab for awhile and couldn't find it so I
tabbed the song myself. I think it's a great song, with an interesting
   riff.

   Standard Tuning

   Key:
   /--slide up or down

   Intro:
   e-----------------------------
   B-----------------------------
   G---2-----4--2----------------
   D------3--------3-------------
   A-----------------------------
   E-----------------------------

   Intro:
   "La La La La La"

   F5 G#5
   This is my stop

   F5 G#5
   Got to get off

   F5 G5 C5 (silence)
   I may go pop

   A#5/G#5/A#5/C5 (silence)
   Excuse me

   A#5/G#5/A#5/C5
   Ex-cuse me

   C#5 A#5 G#5
I've got to be direct (La La La)

   C#5 A#5 G#5
If I'm always correct (La La La)

   C#5 A#5 G#5
You're standing on my neck (La La La)

   C#5 A#5 G#5
   You're standing on my neck

   C#5 (silence)
   Your're standing on my neck

   Intro x 6

   (Wait 1 Intro)

(La La La La La) x 3

   Fade out

   There you have it!

Emoholiday

The chord progression in the chorus is actually:

For the intro,if you play this...
e-----------------------------
B---------0-------------------
G---2--------2----------------
D------3--------3-------------
A-----------------------------
E----------------------------- ...it's the same thing but you can leave the distortion on for longer because it's an open string.
Thanks for the tab!
