                             Staind - Mudshovel
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tabbed by: KirkH420
Email: KirkH420@attbi.com

Tuning: DbAbDbGbBbEb (1/2 Step down and Drop-D)

This is the REAL way to play Mudshovel. And it actually sounds like the song, imagine that....

Eb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Db|---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ab|---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Db|-4-4\3.25-3.25\2.25-2.25\1.75-1.75\1.5-1.5/1.75-1.75/2.25-2.25/2.50-2.50/--
    [.............................HARMINICS................................]

Eb|---------------------------------------------
Bb|---------------------------------------------
Gb|---------------------------------------------
Db|---------------------------------------------
Ab|---------------------------------------------
Db|-3.25-3.25/4-4-------------------------------
    [..........HARMONICS..........]

The above may look stupid at first but it will sound right if played right. All
of the notes are played as harmonics. If you don't know what harmonics are or how
to pull one off, stop looking at my tabs and take lessons! To play the fractional
notes, place finger approximatly at the specified fractional interval on the fret
above the whole number. Example: for 3.25 you would place your finger 1/4 of the
way to the 4th fret harmonic. So 3rd fret and 1/4 of the fourth fret. To make the
above sound right all you really have to do is make a continuous slide down
from 4 to 2.50 and back up to 4 while playing harmonics.

Eb|---------------------------------------------
Bb|---------------------------------------------
Gb|---------------------------------------------
Db|---------------------------------------------
Ab|---------------------------------------------
Db|-3.25-----2.75-----4-------------------------
    [..........HARMONICS..........]

Eb|---------------------------------------------
Bb|---------------------------------------------
Gb|---------------------------------------------
Db|-77-77-77-77-7-7-10-----55-55-55-55-5-5-0----
Ab|-77-77-77-77-7-7-10-----55-55-55-55-5-5-0----
Db|-77-77-77-77-7-7-10-----55-55-55-55-5-5-0----
      x x x x x x x x x x x x
Silence strings at each spaced interval.

Eb|---------------------------------------------
Bb|---------------------------------------------
Gb|---------------------------------------------
Db|-5-0-6-0-010---------------------------------
Ab|-5-0-6-0-010---------------------------------
Db|-5-0-6-0-010---------------------------------
         [..PM..]
The above is 0 1 0 not the tenth fret.

the tuning is baritone, g#,C#,G#,C#,f#,a#
you have the bridge right and the first part of the chorus, but the second part is on the top three strings like

55 55 55 55 3~
77 77 77 77 5~
55 55 55 55 3~
