Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
Hi there! Another great song from Staind! This is a
standard tuning version (no tuning down) that sounds really
good right along with the song (from the album) and actually
it sounds good with the acoustic version all over youtube:)
The (Am* G* F* E*) can be ignored, but if you get them quick
enough it sounds great. Just one strum each chord! Play
along with the song to get the timing down:)

Standard Tuning w/
Capo on 1

Intro
Am G F E
Am* G* F* E* - *once
(Then right into "So this is it")

   Am
So this is it
  G
I say goodbye
        F E (Am* G* F* E*)
To this chapter of my everchanging life
    Am
And there's mistakes
         G
The path is long
        F E
And I'm sure I'll answer for them when I'm gone

F
So when the day comes in
        C
And the Sun won't touch my face
F
Tell the ones who cared enough
       E Am* G* F* E*
That I finally left this place

               Am
That's been so cold
           G
Look at my face
        F G
All the stories it will tell I can't erase
            Am
The road is long
             G
Just one more song
         F G
A little something to remind you when I'm gone
F* G* Am*
When I'm gone

Am G F E
Am* G* F* E*

         Am
The road to Hell
     G
Along the way
   F E (Am* G* F* E*)
Is paved with good intentions so they say
         Am
And some believe
        G
That no good deed
          F E
That go unpunished in the end or so it seems

        C
And the Sun won't touch my face
Dm
Tell the ones who cared enough
       E Am* G* F* E*
That I finally left this place

E Am* G* F* E*

I found the 2nd F found in the line "Tell the ones..." sounds better as a Dm. Otherwise sounds and plays great :D
