Don't take the barlines too literally.
The solo should be phrased however you want (even better if you can do your own!)
but the bars are close enough to be used as guidelines.

It is interesting that Rossi is bending an A note (the second in G) into a Bb.
This is G's minor third but seems to work very well in what sounds like a strictly major solo!
