Title: RIKKI DON'T LOSE THAT NUMBER (Steely Dan)

[Verse 1]
            E D A E
We hear you're leaving, that's OK.
                D A E C# B D
I thought our little wild time had just begun.
                                    A E
I guess you kind of scared yourself, you turn and run.
             F#m7 A RUN - (B F# Ab A D Ab A)
But if you have a change of heart,

[Chorus]
                E G
Rikki don't lose that number, you don't wanna call nobidy else.
                A G D
Send it off in a letter to your self.
                C Em
Rikki don't lose that number it's the only one you own.
                           C D A (tacet) E
You might use it if you feel better when you get home.

[Verse 1]
                D A E

                D A E C# B D
We can go out driving on slow hand row.
                                A E
We could stay inside and play games I don't know.
             F#m7 A RUN - (B F# Ab A D Ab A)

The run at the end of the verse just before the chorus goes B-Eb-Ab-D-Ab-A-E, across strings 5-2. I've played this along with the recording and it is accurate as I hear it.

I agree with the above comment. The run is B-Eb Ab etc, and not B-F#-Ab, I do a cover off of this song live and Mark's comment is accurate

Alternate run ???
d# e g# a d g# a e
I slowed the recording on YouTube. That's what I heard although I don't have super-ears. Maybe it's a harmony for what Mark and Marcus said???
