On and On
Stephen Bishop (c) 1975

C Am C Am
Down in Jamaica they got lots of pretty women
C Am Dm7 G7
Steal your money then they break your heart
C Am C Am
Lonesome Sue, she's in love with ol' Sam
    Dm7 G7 C Am
She take him from the fire into the fryin' pan

CHORUS:
  Dm7
  On and on
           F/G
  She just keeps on trying
C A7 A7+
And she smiles when she feels like crying
         Dm7 G7 C Am C Am
On and on, on and on, on and on

C Am C Am
Poor ol' Jimmy sits alone in the moonlight
C Am Dm7 G7
Saw his woman kiss another man
C Am C Am
So he takes a ladder, steals the stars from the sky
Dm7 G7 C Am
Puts on Sinatra and starts to cry
[repeat Chorus]

TAG:
             Dm7 Em7
When the first time is the last time
           Dm7 F/G C7
It can make you feel so bad
               Dm7 Em7
But if you know it, show it
    Am7 D7 Dm7 C Am
Hold on tight, don't let her say "Goodnight."

C Am C Am
I got the sun on my shoulders and my toes in the sand
C Am Dm7 G7
My woman's left me for some other man
C Am C Am
Ah, but I don't care -- I'll just dream and stay tanned
Dm7 G7 C Am
Toss up my heart and see where it lands.

They are all tuned down a half-step, i believe, pretty decent tab otherwise.

Sounds great, except on "Goodnight" it should be a G7 first (and then the C and Am). Aside from that, very nice job--thanks!
