What You Mean to Me
Sterling Knight
Capo 1st Fret

By: Joshua Suganda (JNS) wakakak

The (D)'s are kinda like a transition chord type thing..
So u don't have to do them if you don't want to..
Cuz they sound good even without it...

[Intro]

G D/F# Em (D) Cadd9

[Verse]

G D/F#
I can't blame you for thinking
         Em (D) Cadd9
That you never really knew me at all
G D/F#
I tried to deny you
    Em (D) Cadd9
But nothing ever made me feel so wrong
D G
I thought I was protecting you
     Cadd9
From everything that I go through
       Em D Cadd9
But I know that we got lost along the way

[Chorus]

G
Here I am with
Cadd9 Em Cadd9
All my heart I hope you understand
  Em (D) Cadd9
I know I let you down
but I'm never
 Em (D) Cadd9
Gonna make that mistake again
Am Bm Cadd9
You brought me closer to who I really am
Am Em
Come take my hand
Cadd9
I want the world to see
         G D/F#
What you mean to me
         Em (D) Cadd9
What you mean to me

[Verse]

G D/F#
Just know that I'm sorry
  Em (D) Cadd9
I never Wanted to make you feel so small
G D/F#
Our story is just beginning
      Em (D) Cadd9
We'll let the truth brake down these walls, oh yeah
    D G
And every time I think of you
  Cadd9
I think of how you pushed me through
    Em D Cadd9
And showed me how much better I could be

[Chorus]

G
Here I am with
Cadd9 Em Cadd9
All my heart I hope you understand
  Em (D) Cadd9
I know I let you down
but I'm never
 Em (D) Cadd9
Gonna make that mistake again
Am Bm Cadd9
You brought me closer to who I really am
Am Em
Come take my hand
Cadd9
I want the world to see
         G D/F# Em
What you mean to me yeah

[Bridge]

            Cadd9
You make me feel like I'm myself
           G
Instead of being someone else
          D/F# Em
I wanna live that every day
         Cadd9
When you say what no one else Will say
           G
you know exactly how to get to me
        D
you know it's what I need

G D/F#
          Em (D) Cadd9
It's what I need yeah

[Chorus]

G
Here I am with
Cadd9 Em Cadd9
All my heart I hope you understand
  Em (D) Cadd9
I know I let you down
but I'm never
 Em (D) Cadd9
Gonna make that mistake again
Am Bm Cadd9
You brought me closer to who I really am
Am Em
Come take my hand
Cadd9
I want the world to see
         G D/F#
What you mean to me
         Em (D) Cadd9
What you mean to me

@CaughtByNessie : a D/F# means you play a regular D plus the F# on the thickest string. The F# is the note on the second fret, thick E - string. D/F# = 200232 .
