Stonewall Jackson - Don't Be Angry
Standard tuning

Tab - Lokki - TheSmokinGum
www.facebook.com/thesmokingum

Ok guys - I've been in the studio and tracking this song. The earlier tab didn't sound quite right when played
along with the record, so I thought I'd put it on here for everyone. But any comments or corrections that
get it closer are welcome, this is just what sounds best to my ear!

I have done my best to get the chords in time with the words, you need to listen to the song to get the
strumming.

OK - Some NOTES!
The song uses mostly E, A, B7, but there is a sneaky little F#/B7 which I've shown below. If you want to solo
then I find that it's good to stick to the E Major scale ( not Pentatonic ;) ). Also play the B7 and F#/B7 as
a barre chord - the open B7 doesn't sound as sweet.

Chords

   E A B7 F#/B7
e|-0--0--2----2--|
B|-0--2--4----4--|
G|-1--2--2----2--|
D|-2--2--4----4--|
A|-2--0--2----x--|
E|-0----------2--|

Intro
( B7, F#/B7, E )

          E A B7 E
Don't be angry with me darling if I fail to understand
         B7 F#/B7 E
All your little whims and wishes all the time
         E A B7 E
Just remember that I'm dumb I guess, Like any foolish man
       B7 F#/B7 E
And my head stays sort of foggy 'cause your mine

     E A B7 E
Well I recall the first time that I flirted with you dear
       B7 F#/B7 E
When I jokingly said come and be my bride
         E A B7 E
Now the time has turned the pages, It's the sweetest joke on earth
       B7 F#/B7 E
That I have you here for ever by my side

(Instrumental)
 E, A, B7, E, B7, F#/B7, E

          E A B7 E
Maybe some day your gonna hurt me, I've been hurt in love before
     B7 F#/B7 E
Only God can know and time alone will tell
            E A B7 E
But in the mean time I'll keep loving you with all my heart and soul
         B7 F#/B7 E
And pray God to let it last if it's his will

( Enjoy! ;) )
