[Verse 1]
E
Even if I am in love with you

All this to say, what's it to you?

Marlene on the wall

[Verse 2]
        E
Well I walk to your house in the afternoon
            Esus4
By the butcher's shop with the sawdust strewn
         F#m
"Don't give away the goods too soon"
     A
Is what she might have told me

       E
And I tried so hard to resist
          Esus4
When you held me in your handsome fist
      F#m
And reminded me of the night we kissed
        A Em7
And of why I should be leaving

[Chorus]
                            Cmaj7

At first I voted 4 stars, but after playing a long for a few more times and checking other versions, I changed my vote to 5. This version is quite easier to play then the way Suzanne Vega originally plays it, and the chords used allow a lot of improvisation. Great job!
