He plays these chords in an alternate way and may have guitar in
an open tuning.
You may want to play E6, A6, and F#m6 instead of the base chords.

E
Through a door in the end
On a crumbling stair
A
In a clear and rushing vein
In a tunnel full of rain
F#m
In a piece of yellow light
On the skin of my eye
E
Are you there?

E
In the wind of my lung
In methane and in love
A
In petroleum plumes
There's a floating slice of moon
F#m
In your tooth and your claw
And your unforgiving jaws
E
Are you there?

E
On a burning white ship
In the taste of her lips
A
In the blood of the swans
As the sun fucks the dawn
F#m
In the mud of the lake
In the drunk and the dazed
E
Are you there?

E
In the now that is not
On a ladder to God
A
On a mountain stripped bare
With your hand in my hair
F#m
Behind the face of the sky
On a disappearing lie
E
Are you there?

E
In the then that was now
In the now that is not
A
In our names we forgot
In a thought we just lost
F#m
We become what we choose
We are stumbling fools
E
Who are not there

E
There's some tangled dirty twine
In some idiot's clouded mind
A
There's some wires that won't unwind
Around the ankles of the blind
F#m
There's some walls lined with soft lead
And in that room is your bed
E
Is that really you?

E
Are you in there?
E
On the moon?
E
In the air?
E
In my hand?
E
Thrown in a fire?

Cracking! I really like the 6th chords idea, I find it plays really nicely if you use the following progression:

Through a door in the air
E6
On a crumbling stair
A
In a clear and rushing vein
A6
In a tunnel full of rain
F#m
In a piece of yellow light
F#m6
On the skin of my eye
E
Are you there?

which really nicely mirrors the melody Michael sings :) I've also seen him do this live, and he plays with a capo on 2nd fret, so it would be D/G/Em etc, which makes the 6th chords much easier to play, as it happens!

Great tab though, 5 stars :D
