"The Middle of Ohio" - Taylor John Williams
Song of a Dead Man EP
Apologies if some of the lyrics are wrong--I tried my best!
Standard tuning, Capo 2

Intro: D D

D D
Sometimes any way I go, I feel in the middle of Ohio
D D
No kind of rhythm and no idea where in the world to go from here
G G
But it seems like anywhere I am, it’s good to be a man, a kind of loving kind of man
D D
Any time and no no no, put the gun down and we can go
A
Down to the river and drink it all away
G7 G7(break)
Life is a giver, and if you ask me it’s a time to take

D D

D D
Sometimes anyone I see, is hiding in the dark to feed on me
D D
No kind of rhythm and no idea where in the world to go from here
G G D
But I’ve never been dealt a losing hand, just didn't quite know how to play the one I had
D D
Any time I go go go, put the brakes on and take it slow
A
Down we’ll deliver and man I’m wide awake
G7 G7(break) D
Feeling the shiver, and if you ask me it’s a time to shake
D
Time to shake

D G D A

D (hold)
Sometimes any way I go, I feel in the middle of Ohio
(D)
No kind of rhythm and no idea where in the world to go from here
G (hold)
But it seems like any where I am, it’s good to be a man, a kind of loving kind of man
D (hold)
Any time and no no no, put the gun down and we can go
A (hold)
Down to the river and drink it all away
G7 (hold)
Life is a giver
                                         D
And if you ask me it’s a time to take

Third line of 2nd verse is incorrect lyrically.

"but I never been dealt a losing hand, just didn't quite know how to play the one I had"
