Intro

    G Em Cadd9 D/F#

Verse 1

G Em Cadd9
Drew looks at me,
   D/F# G
I fake a smile so he won't see

         Em Cadd9
That I want and I'm needing
D/F# G
everything that we should be
                         Em
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
Cadd9
   And she's got everything that
D/F#
I have to live without

Verse 2

G Em Cadd9
     Drew talks to me
   D/F# G
I laugh cause it's so damn funny
            Em Cadd9
That I can't even see
D/F#
anyone when he's with me
Em C
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right,
D/F# D
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

Chorus:

G D/F#
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
Em C
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
G Em C D/F#
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

Verse 3:

G Em Cadd9
Drew walks by me,
D/F# G
can he tell that I can't breathe?
                  Em Cadd9
And there he goes, so perfectly,
D/F# G
The kind of flawless I wish I could be

Em C
She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love
D/F# D
Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause

Chorus:

G D/F#
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
Em C
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
G Em C D/F#
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

G Em Cadd9 D/F# x2

Bridge:
Em C
So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light
G
I'll put his picture down
D/F#
and maybe get some sleep tonight

2nd Chorus:
G D/F#
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
Em C
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
G D/F# Em
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
             G D/F#
He's the time taken up, but there's never enough
          Em C
And he's all that I need to fall into

Outro:

G Em C D/F#
Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see

Your placement of chords is sometimes inconsistent. But by rearranging them it'll sound better. But it sounds great! :D Em could also be played with an Em7 - it sounds fine and is easier to change to the Cadd9 (at least if you've played "Ours" and are used to the changes). Great job! :)
