D A Em G

                   D A
In the heat of the fight I walked away
  Em G
Ignoring words that you were saying, trying to make me stay
       D A
I said this time I've had enough
    Em G
And you've called a hundred times but I'm not picking up

C D
'Cause I'm so mad I might tell you that it's over
Em A
But if you look a little closer

D A
I said "leave" but all I really want is you
   Em G
To stand outside my window throwing pebbles
          (G)
Screaming "I'm in love with you"
D A
Wait there in the pouring rain, come back for more
    Em (D/F#) G
And don't you leave 'cause I know all I need
          A D A Em G
Is on the other side of the door

          D A
Me and my stupid pride are sitting here alone
Em G
Going through the photographs, staring at the phone
                  D A
I keep going back over things we both said
        Em
And I remember the slamming door
            G
And all the things that I misread

C D
So babe if you know everything tell me why you couldn’t see
Em A
When I left I wanted you to chase after me

D A
I said "leave" but all I really want is you
   Em G
To stand outside my window throwing pebbles
          (G)
Screaming "I'm in love with you"
D A
Wait there in the pouring rain, come back for more
    Em (D/F#) G
And don't you leave 'cause I know all I need
          A D A Em G
Is on the other side of the door

    Em
And I'll scream out the window
G D A
I can't even look at you, I don't need you but I do, I do, I do
Em G
I'll say there's nothing you can say to make this right again
  D A C
I mean it, I mean it, what I mean is

D A
I said "leave" but baby all I want is you
   Em G
To stand outside my window throwing pebbles
          (G)
Screaming "I'm in love with you"
D A
Wait there in the pouring rain, come back for more
    Em (D/F#) G
And don't you leave 'cause I know all I need
          A D
Is on the other side of the door

(D)
With your face and your beautiful eyes
        A
And the conversation with the little white lies
        Em
And the faded picture of a beautiful night
   G
You carried me from your car up the stairs
      D
And I broke down crying, was she worth this mess
      A
After everything and that little black dress
      Em C
After everything I must confess I need you

i think in the chorus instead of the (G) you should play an A. I think it sounds much better. and in the last verse it should be:
G A
you carried me from your car up the stairs

Like i said to do in the chorus. It gives it, idk, like something that makes it sound good. But amazing job otherwise! :)

The chord that you're calling D/F# is actually a Dadd11
