Tuning: Capo 5.

     G Em7 Cadd9 D Dsus4 Dsus2
e|---3---3---3---2---3---0---|

G|---0---0---0---2---2---2---|
D|---0---2---2---0---0---0---|
A|---2---2---3---x---x---x---|

[Intro]

e|-------------3-----------3--3----3----2-|
B|-------------3-----------3--3----3----3-|
G|-------------0-----------0--0----0h2--2-|
D|-------------0-----------2--2-----------|
A|-0h2-0-------2-0hp-0---0h2--0h3---------|
E|-------0-0h3-3-------0---0--0-----------|

*Note* - The Dsus4 & Dsus2 can be ignored... they're just pull-offs on the high E string so
they don't really have to be in a certain place, or there at all.(That’s how Taylor
plays it live.)

[Verse 1]

G Em7
He said the way my blue eyes shined
                            Cadd9
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
                   Dsus4 D
 I said, that’s a lie
G Em7
Just a boy in a Chevy truck that had a tendency
    Cadd9 Dsus4 D
Of getting stuck on back roads at night
     Dsus2 Cadd9 Dsus4 D Dsus2
And I was right there beside him all summer long
    Cadd9 Em7 Cadd9 D
And then the time we woke up to find that summer gone, but

[Chorus]

               G Em7
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my favorite song
                     Cadd9
The one we danced to all night long
                Dsus4 D Dsus2
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
               G Em7
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress
            Cadd9 Dsus4 D
Think of my head on your chest and my old faded blue jeans,
     Dsus2 Cadd9 D G
When you think Tim McGraw ... I hope you think of me

[Verse 2]

G Em7
September saw a month of tears and thanking God
          Cadd9 Dsus4 D
That you weren’t here, to see me like that
G Em7 Cadd9
But in a box beneath my bed is a letter that you never read
                    Dsus4 D
 From three summers back
Cadd9 Dsus4 D Dsus2
It’s hard not to find it all a little bittersweet
     Cadd9 Em7
And looking back on all of that
     Cadd9 D
 It’s nice to believe
               G Em7
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my favorite song
                     Cadd9
The one we danced to all night long
                Dsus4 D Dsus2
The moon like a spotlight on the lake

[Chorus]

               G Em7
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress
            Cadd9 Dsus4 D
Think of my head on your chest and my old faded blue jeans,
     Dsus2 Cadd9 D G
(on low E)
When you think Tim McGraw ... I hope you think of me

[Verse 3]

        Cadd9
And I’m back for the first time since then
   Dsus4 D Dsus2
I’m standing on your street,
              Cadd9 Em7
And there’s a letter left on your doorstep
        Cadd9 Dsus4 D
And the first thing that you’ll read...
               G Em7
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my favorite song
                         Cadd9
Someday you’ll turn your radio on
          Dsus4 D
I hope it takes you back to that place

[Chorus]

               G Em7
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress
            Cadd9 Dsus4 D
Think of my head on your chest and my old faded blue jeans,
     Dsus2 Cadd9 D G
When you think Tim Mc Graw ... I hope you think of me
             Em7 Cadd9 (with pull-offs)
Oh, think of me. Oooh.

G Em7
He said the way my blue eyes shined
                            Cadd9
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
                      Dsus4 D G
 I said, that’s a lie

I missed a chord change in 2 places...

And (cadd9) then the time we woke (em7) up to find that (cadd9) summer (d) gone.

And

And (cadd9) looking back on (em7) all of that it's (cadd9) nice to be(d)lieve.
