[Intro]
C Em
Ah, look at all the lonely people,

Ah, look at all the lonely people!

  Em
Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church,
                     C C/G C C/G C Em/B
Where a wedding has been, lives in a dream,

Wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door,
          Em
Who is it for?

[Chorus]
Em7 Em6 Cmaj7/E Em
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
Em7 Em6 Cmaj7/E Em
All the lonely people, where do they all be - long?

 Em
Father McKenzie,
                                                C6
Writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear,
              Em
No one comes near,
 Em Em * Emadd9 Em
Look at him working, darning his socks in the night,
              Em7 * C6 Em
When there's nobody there! What does he care?

[Chorus]
Em7 Em6 Cmaj7/E Em
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
Em7 Em6 Cmaj7/E Em
All the lonely people, where do they all be - long?

[Bridge]
C Em
Ah-----, look at all the lonely people,
C Em
Ah-----, look at all the lonely people!

Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands,
       Em C6 Em
As he walks from her grave, no one was saved!

Very nice!
I usually play the downward movement in the chorus on octave up; might be a nice alternative:
Em7 0-2-2-0-3-0
Em6 0-2-2-0-2-0
Cmaj7/E 0-2-2-0-1-0
Em 0-2-2-0-0-0
