The Beatles

G5 G5 G5 G5

G5 F#m B7 Em Em/D
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Cmaj7 D7 G5 D/F#
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
    Em7 A C G5
Oh, I believe in yesterday

G5 F#m B7 Em Em/D
Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
Cmaj7 D7 G5 D/F#
There's a shadow hanging over me

F#m7 B7 Em D C Am7 D7 G5
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

G5 F#m B7 Em Em/D
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
CMaj7 D7 G D/F#
Now I need a place to hide away
    Em7 A C G5
Oh, I believe in yesterday

F#m7 B7 Em D C Am D7 G5
Why, she had to go, I don't know, she wouldn't say
F#m7 B7 Em D C Am7 D7 G5
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

G5 F#m B7 Em Em/D

This is the nearest version here, but to play along with the original you need to tune all strings down a full tone, as Paul McCartney did, to DGCFAD.
The song then sounds in the key of F.
