Although there are major chords written in the top of the bars, there's no "real harmony" in this song actually, at least in the guitar part. Jason plays octaves all along the song and power/fifth chords at the final of the verses/chorus, and because of this the G, F, C and D major patterns are simply a reference for a simplified interpretation. Acoustic playing for example... Even so, the G major chord is a little bit problematic. Let me explain: if you get the first lyrics of the song and look by what notes are formed (I've -G- got -B flat- this fee -D-ling going on...) you will notice that it is a G minor triad and think "Ok, i'll play G minor because these three notes are sung in the vocal line" but IN MY OPINION, G minor sounds a little bit strange here but its a possibility. Added to this, the next vocal line ends with a B natural just before the G chord starts again (Am I right or am i WRONG -B natural- Maybe it's not the correct lyric line... sorry for my Google Translate english, buddies. :D) that makes me think that the next G chord could be major (G, B, D = G major) perfectly. So, we have different possibilities. First, make the chorus chord progression like this: Gm - F - C - Bflat, C - G - F - C - Bflat, C - Riff/Bridge. The second one is simplify at maximum: G5 - F5 - C5 - Bflat5, C5... "y aquí paz y después gloria" as we say in Spain. Yes, I know. It's a Brew song, not the Ninth Symphony. It's an easy (but very efective) composition, raw and direct. But may be interesting to get the harmony base for many reasons. Acoustic interpretation as I cited before or simply for you to know where are you walking about. Enjoy! This is my favourite track on Control and a easy one to play!

Lyrics: (Chorus) I've got this feeling going on I'm I right or am I wrong I have known it all along I've got this feeling going on Mr. Politican I've found a way to control you I found it on my TV when you board me with your truth I had so much fun watching your mouth open and close One minute your lies, the next thing your on mute (Chorus) Hey pointless TV star I've found a way to silence you Stop all your bullshit thoughts and stupid stories too Lift one little finger and place it on the mute It's really satisfying before you're too big for your boots (Chorus 2) I've got this feeling going on They want us all to sing along This is all just one big con I've got this feeling going Your smile is deceiving, your words are all lies Your friend is the Joker, a comic book life The pedestal you preach from is built up from greed While mothers are crying for their children to feed Staple your mouth with their bones from the ground Bathe in their blood and I'll smile while you drown Fall to the ground and I'll stick in the boot Silence your bullshit, my fingers on mute
