I wrote this tab just to make a few corrections from previous tabs.
 The song would be in standard tuning if it weren't for the E chord
 during the intro/bridge riffs, where you have to hit that low open D
 or the chord just sounds messed up.

Verse/chorus -
the first chord in the verse rolls straight on from the pre-verse;
 there is no pause. This part starts as soon as he says 'car' in
the first line, the singing starts towards the end of the pre-verse.
