---------------------------------------------------------------

Intro: [C/G - F - G] x3

Verse 1:
C/G F G C/G F G C/G
On a winter Sunday I go to clear away the snow
    F G C/G F G
And green the ground below
C F G C/G
April, holler or shutter way
   F G C/G F G C/G F G
Is this the better way to spend the day, keeping the winter at bay?

Chorus 1:
F G C/G F
Where were the words I meant to say before you left
     Am F G G7
When I could see your breathe lead where you were going to
C/G F G C/G
Maybe I should just let it be
   F G C/G
Or maybe it will all come back to me
       F G C/G
Sing, "Oh, January, oh"

Verse 2: [use verse 1 chords]
How I lived a childhood in snow, and all my teams in tow
Stuffed in strata of clothes
Hail the winter days after dark
Wandering the great memorial park, a fleeting beating of hearts

Chorus: [use chorus 1 chords]
Where were the words I meant to say before she left
When I could see your breathe lead where she was going to
Maybe I should just let it be
And maybe it will all come back to me
       F G F G C/G
Sing, "Oh, Janu-, oh, January, oh"

Mostly right, except for one line. It's definitely like this:

Am F G
When I could see your breath lead where you were going to

For some reason, it didn't occur to me to play this with a capo. Much easier than playing it in open.

Oops, like this:

Am F G G7
When I could see your breath lead where you were going to

I submitted correction for the line JIMTS mentioned above, what he pointed out was correct. Changes have been made...
