Capo 2nd fret

General: Pick the bass note only on the first strum of each chord.

    G G/F# Em C C/B Am7 C/G D9/F# Dsus4
e|--3---3----0---0--0---0---0---0-----(5)---|
B|--0---0----0---1--1---1---1---3------3----|

A|--2---x----2---3--2---0---x---x------5----|
E|--3---2----0---x--x---x---3---2------x----|

Em*

e|-0---
B|-0---
G|-0---
D|-2---
A|-0h2-
E|-0---

C**

e|-0-0-----0---|
B|-1-1-----1---|
G|-0-0-----0---|
D|-2-2p0h2-2p0-|
A|-3-3-----3---|
E|-x-------x---|

[INTRO and POST-CHORUS]

The intro is G but then he hammers on (and pulls off) on the D and B strings
(essentially making a C with G bass):

e|--3--3----|
B|--0--h1---|
G|--0--0----|
D|--0--h2---|
A|--x--x----|
E|--3--3----|

So strum a G, then hammer on, strum a few more, then pull off on a strum. Repeat four
times. Listen to the song for exact timing.

Here's a hymn to welcome in the day
G G/F# Em
Heralding a summer's early sway

And all the bulbs all coming in ... to begin

The thrushes bleating battle with the wrens disrupts my reverie again
G G/F# Em Em*
   Pegging clothing on the line
G G/F# Em
   Training Jasmine how to vine
       Em* C C/B Am7 [Am7 C/B]
Up the arbour to your door ... and more

Great tab! If it helps anyone, the harmonica part is straight harp (as opposed to cross harp), so you'll need a harmonica in the key of A.

Great tab, probably my favorite of theirs. So sweet and beautiful if you have a partner for harmony!
