Gradually fade out while playing the above Am - G section repeatedly
to end the song.

Alternatively, you can play the song all the way through from the 
beginning a second time before fading out at the end. I prefer 
doing this as the song seems to end too soon when played through 
only one time.

A note about one note: Another way to play the Bm section of the song is to play the note on 6th string, 3rd fret as a substitute for the open A string note as shown below. This gives the song a more melancholy sound IMO.
