The Crystal Ship chords
The Doors

Capo I *

           Em          Bm
Before you slip into unconsciousness,
    Am            Em
I'd like to have another kiss
 E      Em   A   B      A  E
Another flashing chance at bliss,
 D      E      D      E
another kiss, another kiss

C G D  B

    Em                   Bm
The days are bright, and filled with pain,
  Am               Em
enclose me in your gentle rain
    E        Em  A   B   A  E
The time you ran was too insane,
      D     E           D     E
we'll meet again, we'll meet again

Piano solo

    Em                 Bm
Oh, tell me where your freedom lies,
    Am                      Em
the streets are fields that never die
  E     Em A    B   A   E
Deliver me from reasons why,
      D      E        D      E
you'd rather cry, I'd rather fly

    Em              Bm
The crystal ship is being filled
  Am                Em
A thousand girls, a thousand thrills
  E       Em   A  B     A    E
A million ways to spend your time
     D      E          D      E
When we get back, I'll drop a line

* Alternate:

Capo III

Em = Dm
Bm = Am
Am = Gm
E  = D
B  = A
D  = C
A  = G

This is good, but I think the verse before the piano solos might be; "E, A, B, E," instead of; "E, Em, B, E." It sounds better to me, but perhaps someone else can chime in.

Also, I think you can play the piano solo as; "C, G, D," or some variation of that.

Thank you! Good ear....actually, I changed it to also add the Em and A...so
E Em A B E
Another flashing chance at bliss, etc....

Thanks for the great tip!
