The chords are fairly easy to play on this one but the strumming pattern is quite hard to grasp.

-Capo 4th Fret-

Intro- G, C x2

Bm C
Spend you're time in the smoking rooms where,
Bm C
I get all the women with the cheap perfume say,
Bm C
It never happens for people like us,
Bm C
Well nothing ever happend on it's own,
C D
And when the toilet smells of desperation,
C D
The streets all echo of agrovation,
C D
And you wonder why you can't get no sleep,
            C
When you've nothing to do,
    D
And nothing to eat,
C
It's all slipping and sliding right out of you,
                                     D
And there's absoloutley nothing that you can do,

Chorus:

G Dm C
We'll live and die, we'll live and die in these towns,
Em Dm C Cadd9, D
Don't let it drag you down, don't let it drag you down now,
G Dm C
We'll live and die, we'll live and die in these towns,
Em Dm C Cadd9, D
Don't let it drag you down, don't let it drag you down now,

G, C x2

Bm C
Dirty dishes of a TV meal,
Bm C
That went cold from the wind through a smashed up window,
Bm C
You can't go out if nobody calls,
        Bm C
And you can't run a bath with no hot water,
C D
And when you're friends are all out on the town again,
C D
And you ask yourself if it'll ever end,
C (Hit Once) C (Hit Once)
Because it's all too much for you're head to take,
       C (Hit Once) D
Just a matter of time before you break sing!

Chorus:

G Dm C
We'll live and die, we'll live and die in these towns,
Em Dm C Cadd9, D
Don't let it drag you down, don't let it drag you down now,
G Dm C
We'll live and die, we'll live and die in these towns,
Em Dm C Cadd9, D
Don't let it drag you down, don't let it drag you down now,
Em C
And aaahhh...
Em C
And aaahhh...

G Dm C
We'll live and die, we'll live and die in these towns,
Em Dm C Cadd9, D
Don't let it drag you down, don't let it drag you down now,
G Dm C
We'll live and die, we'll live and die in these towns,
Em Dm C Cadd9, D
Don't let it drag you down, don't let it drag you down now!
