I Wonder If I Care As Much:Everly Brothers.
#2 on CADENCE Records in 1958.

G D7 G D7 G D7 G
I wonder if I care as much..as I did before.

G Em
Last night I cried myself to sleep..
G Em
for the one who makes me weep.
G Em
I dried my eyes to greet the day..
    C D7 G
and wondered why I had to p-a-y.

G Em
The tears that I have shed by day..
G Em
give relief and wash away..
    G Em
the memory of the night before..
C D7 G
I wonder if I'll suffer m-o-re.

G D7 G D7 G
I wonder if I care as much..as I
D7 G
did before.

G Em
My pride is made to say forgive..
G Em
and take the blame for what you did.
     G Em
It's your mistakes I'm thinking of..
  C D7 G
I wonder if I'm still in l-o-ve.

G Em
My heart can't thrive on misery..
   G Em
my life it has no destiny.
G Em
When things get more than I can bear..
  C D7 G
I ask myself do I still c-a-re.
G D7 G D7 G
I wonder if I care as much..as I
D7 G
did before.

It needs to be capoed on the second fret, and the chord progression is G/Em/G/Em/ instead of G to D.

I'll check it out. Was having problems with software submitting wrong chords. I'll have to check each one more closely from now on. KK

Checked it out and it's OK. Progression is NOT G Em/ G Em. KK.
