VERSE 2
E / /
Skin-in-n has been peeling, burnt from all the damage,
From too-o-o much exposure, to other peo-ple s pain.
So much has fallen around us, I m trying to stay numb.
But the day-ay keeps returning, it s not to be outdone.

REPEAT CHORUS:

MIDDLE 8:Guitar syncopated as bass note, Chord, Chord, bassnote, chord.

c# C#7 / c# C#7 g# G#7 / F# G
Still there s a glow on the wick from a candle, I just blew ow-out.
c# C#7 / c# C#7 g G#7 / F# G
Now that it s dark and I m caught in a bramble, can t find my way o-out

LEAD BREAK:
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--7-/-(9)-\-7-p5-5-h7-/-(9)---5-s->-12-/(15)-\12—9-p7-s-<-5-h7-/(9)-|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------|

Play solo tab twice. Then play main riff chords as alternate E chords.

VERSE 3:

E / /
Cats, they all fightin, they dont even bother.
The heat, it keeps risin, they just sit and stare.

LAST CHORUS:

So, if you hold me close, it wont feel so bad, it wont feel so bad...

And I would make the most, of Everything You Had, of Everything You Had

Of Everything You Had, of Everything You Had..

ENDING:
e|--4--4—(4)----X—(X)—X--X---4--4-(4)---X-(X)—X--X----|
B|--5--5—(5)----3-(3)-3--3---5—-5-(5)---3—(3)-3--3----|
G|--4--4—(4)----2—(2)-2--2---4--4-(4)---2-(2)-2--2----|
D|--2--2—(2)----0—(0)-0--0---2--2-(2)---0-(0)-0--0----|
A|--2--2—(2)----X—(X)-X--X---2--2-(2)---X-(X)-X--X----|
E|--0--0—(0)----X—(X)-X--X---0--0-(0)---X-(X)-X--X----|

Oh–h–h-h-h (ow-w) Oh-h-h-h-Oh-oh.

Note about Alternate E chord. This could actually be just two guitars.
One playing barred E on 7th fret and the other guitar playing open or first position E.
In either case, in places where Alternate E is listed, the chord is loud, full and
powerful. Definitely different than the Intro and Verses.

The Figgs are the greatest band you never heard of.
PALAIS is a super CD set.
